About Me
I'm a storyteller, and editing is my craft. Images, both moving and still, have the powerful ability to inspire. I believe in using images to tell profound stories that connect to an audience by conveying emotions, broadening perspectives, and attempting to change the way we think about the world.
A native of St. Louis Missouri, I went to college at DePaul University in Chicago, IL and graduated with a B.A. in Digital Cinema with a concentration in Film Editing. I've been an editor in the Los Angeles area for 14 years now, and have experience editing both documentary and scripted television series. I'm best known for editing shows such as The Old Man (FX/Hulu), Naked and Afraid (Discovery Channel), Percy Jackson (Disney+), and The Man in the High Castle (AMAZON). An episode I edited for Percy Jackson and the Olympians won an Emmy for Outstanding Editing.
I also co-founded and ran a documentary film company for 6 years. We specialized in creating educational and promotional videos for nonprofit organizations. Some of our clients included UCLA, St. Vincent DePaul, Would Works, Offerman Woodshop, and the Rafiki Collaborative.
When I'm not busy editing, I love to explore through travel. I've lived in Melbourne Australia, hiked to the heights of Machu Picchu and to the depths of the Grand Canyon. Other past times include rock climbing, cycling, and camping. Being outside in nature provides me the much needed respite from daily life in the city.
